The Rocky Mountain News has thrown some cheap shots at my employer The Denver Post these past two months. I’ve seen a little of the same from the Rocky’s online team, and that spirit of competition between newspapers is something I will miss when the Rocky goes out of business.
So it brought me some pleasure to stumble on this photo, taken of the desk of one of the Rocky’s online guys, who had a message about the Rocky’s soon-to-be former corporate parent, the E. W. Scripps Company:
